How To Reset Your G-Shock | Analog Hands Don’t Match Digital Display

Are your G-Shock hands not matching the digital time display? I'll show you how to quickly reset the handset so it's resynced and calibrated. Sure, the manual can show you how to do this, but KZbin videos are faster! Plus, you threw the manual out, didn't you? Or is it lost in the junk drawer? Let's get your hands aligned!
The watch shown is the GA-100-1A4 running module 5081, but the process should be similar for any anadigi G-Shock, meaning it has an analog handset and digital display.

Great vid. But what if you’re trying to get the sub dial to move and it will not? I keep pushing the forward button and nothing is happening.

Oooh. I don't know. You're holding it down, not just pressing it, right? If your module number is different than this one, might double check for manual. Otherwise, if the timing seems right, I'd start with a battery replacement. Cheap way to start process of elimination.

Sir question. Thus this problem occured because the watch not worn during bedtimes? Coz my analog watch have the same problem every morning being delayed 5 to 20 mins from the digital one.

I don't know what causes it! But yours sounds pretty aggressive to be off by that much every morning? Is it possible you're at the end of your battery life?

Your other comments disappeared....but maybe try a warranty claim then. There's also a slight chance you have a counterfeit with an inferior movement. The first one I bought of this exact watch was unknowingly so...this one is genuine.

Yeah you may be right. The light definitely isn't as strong as I remember it being. Will try to replace the battery.
