Lina boi you think the meat you get at the store had a “fair” chance? Who gives a shit if it’s fair, and no one is capable of judging what makes it fair for the prey. Unless you want there to be a 50/50 chance of you dying every time you eat meat

If there is scarcity of food and you are fully dependent and your survival is difficult or you find no other way then we can use it.. Otherwise it is forbidden.. Also, there might be a bird that came into ur room n now its not going out u may use this trap to catch it to free it outside. K guys I'm seeing angry comments about it "not being right" and stuff, but those are common finch, house sparrows, and its not exactly illegal to catch them. Also, if none of you watched the end, they released the bird back without harming it. Birds are smart, too. Next time they'll have to try a different location because birds will eventually learn their tricks and be able to get the seed without being caught. They'll also warn each other, too, so it's not like they're all unknowing. Please, just think for a second some of you to consider how intelligent a bird can be. Also rats aren't as bad as you think. Though sewer rats may carry some diseases, they don't live in your home, do they? And housed rats are usually more hygienic than people. Sorry just need to put that in there.

Actually house sparrows (the ones in this video) are ridiclously overpopulated pest species that kill off endangered birds and drive out native wildlife for nesting space and food. They're probably the closest you can get to a rat with wings - house sparrows damage entire ecosystems and ravage native wildlife extremely rapidly. If you don't have a weak stomach, try googling "House sparrow bluebird" on google images, and see what they do to peaceful songbirds.

@AkatsukiLoverX35 жыл бұрын
This times fifty million. If they're really that upset about it, they can do something about it like volunteering to help animals or to spread education about common "pest" animals value like coyotes and doves, vs commenting on an internet video about how this is animal abuse.
@AkatsukiLoverX35 жыл бұрын
Coyotes are often killed and seen as a pest animal around here. Sort of like how a larger portion of the world see's rats as "dirty" and "pests". Harmful to the environment or their assets, like crops and livestock or children. Starlings and House Sparrows are invasive species, but have gradually taken a place in the ecosystems they now inhabit. Despite that they are often seen as pest animals, even still.

or you use this trap to get a bird out of your house easier or somewhere enclosed, as opposed to running after it with a net or cloth. Like say the place doesn't even have large windows for the poor thing to get out through. Even then birds can panic and not go through what seems to be an obvious exit. Letting it calm down and trap itself to then release it outside would be an effective and near harmless use of this trap.

food procurement or pest control. It's not cruel, the birds aren't harmed in anyway. Some people are so privileged to have access to conventional food supply or controlled bird populations. Some aren't. This trap can be used for other captures as well it would appear. The comment section is a good reminder lots of folks will starve or result to other means if they ever had to get food anywhere but a grocery store.
@beth69305 жыл бұрын
Rusty Shackleford but if the have babies then there harmed cuz the can starve if the bird is kept in there for a long period of time because now other children are going to go do this
@Wolfdog2355 жыл бұрын
LemonDrop if the trap is used for catching food or pest control as Rusty described then whomever is catching the birds doesnt give a single fuck about the birds' personal lives and in the case of pest control killing off any babies indirectly by killing the parent only makes the job easier. On another note; Kids recreating this trap for entertainment are going to attempt to catch birds for fun regardless of this videos existance. I used to catch garter snakes and little fish with my hands as a child without the internet showing me how.

Thank goodness you didn't harm the lil birdie...as an AFRICAN(SOUTH AFRICAN to be precise) I was once bed ridden for a full year,couldn't go outside and could only hear the sounds these birds make in the morning,once you are deprived of experiencing the outside world,you will learn to appreciate the sounds/singing these birds make every single morning TRUST ME...they are here for a reason(though some find them irritating) to add balance to nature.
I loved the sound effect when the sparrow "plopped" down to the ground!!

I see nothing wrong with this. Yeah, they may be a little stressed, but it could extremely help make other traps like this. it can also help capture escaped pets, a bird in somewhere far away from a good habitat, or anything like that it can extremely help. i dont get the 20 thousand people who hate this. thanks for the video

Agreed, but if you were really in a survival situation, you would want to keep any bottles you find for water. And where are you supposed to find the metal wire? Just make a snare or pole trap or something.

Don't thank him! He trapped it, starved it, scared it, and killed off any eggs or chicks it may have had.

Hunjry Dood youre the most pathetic person here. How in the world did he starve it? Huh. He fed it it and did catch and release. That's what we do to fish and not many people care about that. Also how does that prevent it from having future chicks. That makes absolutely no sense. Yes he scared it. But the bird will eventually forget about and move on. Jeez you freaking hippie. You're argument didn't help you're case at all. Smh.
