I noticed in your other videos you have taking lots of different parts of this set up and made a lot of nodes our of them, is there no chance of getting a tutorial for that kind of thing? what sorts of parameters are useful etc

What is that thing you did at 2:11 that collapsed the autocontrast node into a little red box? I am not familiar with the purpose behind that so I am having a hard time looking it up.

Hi @danielgies741, I just docked the node using the shortcut "D". You don't need to do it if you don't want to. It won't change the material. I only did for organization purpose.

Thanks for the tutorial, but you might want to consider rendering videos no more than 1.5x of realtime. So many nodes have split-second parameters view before you move to another, making it really difficult to follow. I have also created a subgraph for the brushstoke with shape/grunge inputs, as well as some exposed parameters.

set the playback speed to 0.25 and its easy to follow.

hi, the blend node in minute 3:46 is not working for me as it should, instead of dark blue bkground it is giving me a transparent mask :( i cant find my mistake 🥲

Humm maybe your uniform color node has no alpha values. Try to put your alpha values of the uniform color node to 255
