no I dont.i turn my lights on at 6am and turn off at 5 or 6pm all depends on the time zone

Hi I just got my Russian tortoise and I know I just got him but he's not eating I checked red flags he looks good nothing on the Shell his eyes are wide open and he's active I got the calcium and sprinkled it on his food but he has not ate it please help

sorry for the late reply buddy I checked out your video I like his name Larry is a nice name but I have some bad news for you.from what you tell me and from what I see in your video the reason your tortoise isn't eating is because he has no lights basking spot uvb and uva.the basking spot light is a must 100% must it helps him digest food and without it he cant digest food so he won't bother eating tortoises are cold blooded they need heat to warm up without the heat they become sick their bones get brittle there shall gets soft the UVA light gives it vitamins without any of these lights they get sick with time.please get these requirements.with in time move him to a table top encloser the glass isn't good at all it cuts off air circulation and air flow it can give your tortoise respiratory problems that could be another reason why he's not eating.aslo another reason is he has no hide to go under tortoises love solitude and privacy your tortoise is in a glass enclosure it sees everything around him in hes probably scared and has no place to go hide so he doesn't eat.also try and putting him in a water dish for 10 minutes so at least u will know he's drinking water to stay hydrated. if your tortoise goes more than 3 days without eating that is a very big problem you should be worried ether fix the problem or I suggest taking him to a vet.I hope everything gets better keep me updated best of luck. PS.I hope you didn't get him from Petco or Petsmart they sell sick reptiles take him back and get a new one if it isn't too late

+Minion Crazy also the reason he pee on you is because he was scared...tortoise so not like to be touched or picked up they are just for the eye to watch their beauty not to pick up are play with when it pee it is releasing all of his water his hydration and thats very bad for him it can get really sick.
