Public service announcement: I had the same problem only on the passenger side and I replaced the plastic fitting that goes thru the firewall and a few months later got water again. I actually put JB weld around that fitting from the inside sealing it to the firewall cuz the water was actually leaking around it. That fixed it once and for all

Did it with a very long paintbrush thru the passenger A/C vent hole and just slathered JB weld around it lol

You did all that work for nothing. Anyone watching this video don't do this. All you need is some 3/8 vacuum hose and 2 pressure clamps and save so much time and never have to worry again. This comes from a g owner that had a car filled with water and I mean full. I found a much easier and faster way plus no one ever mentions how you battery tray fills with water too. Anyone has questions ask me
