Good video. Question, now that your female connector is damaged. Can you cut off the end of that connector and add another female connector? Someone stepped on mine at home and I'm thinking of opening it and reconnecting a female connector

why 12v power socket dont come with water proof seal like RJ45 part ?

Great video, its funny how gew people discuss the most important things! The most intelligent question or comment I can leave is why are these not installed on every ethernet cable that's intended on being used outside? companies are selling the security cameras boasting about how their cameras are IP67 rated or whatever but none of them manufacture their products with these waterproof caps installed. You have to ask yourself why is that? And then not to warranty the product because of it it's like telling the customer that it's their fault it is not the customer's fault when this happens on a system that is intended on going Outdoors

1st. This is the worst conection ever created. Extremenly bad design. 2. You will never resolve this problem. You always will have corrosion in time. 3. The solution you give doesn't work at all. You will get corrosion again and again I have 4 different CCTV systems and the same problem with this extremenly bad design conection.
