i didn't mean to. its the black nail polish i used. its not very opaque. ended up turning grey when mixed with the white. you an use grey if you want instead of mixing it up.

Use some purple or blue for a um......a new marble design like multi designs or oh! Do different designs in 1 big bowl and dip at least all ur fingers on a hand with those cool designs. Try some techniques on those squiggles.

I recommend using lip balm around the nail as well. After dipping a finger, all that needs to be done if wipe off tge excess nailpolish with a tissue. Some nail polish remover will be needed to clean the hard to get spaces around the cuticles and such

I have watched so many nail tutorial videos and it took looking at a lot of them to know which nail polishes worked best for water marbling. I realised that some of my nail polishes would spread, but that they wouldn't allow other colors to spread, so I used this to my advantage and used some of them as an additional top coat to add a little extra color. Or when I use my holographic gold nail polish, it makes my nails look like they have a pearly finish. Sometimes I also like for my design to be a little darker or have a hint of another color and will use the same method. You can also use this as a way to add a gradient effect if you position your nail properly. The easiest and cheapest way that I did my practice was by using plastic spoons, that way I cool look at the entire design and also know what colors I used :)
