I'm completely agree with you sir,if your TDS is less than 500 you don't have to worry about your Water. in India most of the water is drinkable if it is coming from natural sources like wells, mountains. Thanks for your efforts... One thing I would like to suggest to all my Indians... If you are going to buy an RO for Rs 7000... Instead buy three things A candle filter for Rs 1500 with stainless steel body A silver glass of 5000 Rs and 2 stainless steel bottles for just 500 Rs... Candle filter filters extra TDS, silver glass kills bacterias and stainless steel bottles are safe (not harmful as plastic bottles). And if you have a borewell change pvc pipes with galvanized steel pipes... If you agree pls like my comment.

Sir, Thanks for excellent information and analysis about RO, UV, UF and TDS. In fact I wanted to buy RO and now decided to change my idea. I bought TDS meter online and found my bore well water has a TDS of 150 to 170 and found it now quite healthy to consume. Its sweet water and not hard water. However, we need to get it tested from the Lab that, water does not contain minerals like Flouride, Cloride, Arsenic, Sir, please guide if they are found in our Borewell water. Thanks once again
