Newfies are the best dog ever. I have a Newfie called koda and one time when I was 11 he saved my life. I was out surfing and my older brother who was 18 at the time was having a break from surfing just sitting on the beach with koda. I got slammed into a rock by this huge wave. My board was snapped clean in two and my arm broke on impact, I was also knocked out. As soon as it happened Koda got up and swam through the huge waves and grabbed me by the wetsuit and pulled me into shore. If koda hadn’t been there I would of been dead. He was out there before my brother or any other human that was there and trying to rescue me. I’m 15 now and still surfing and koda still loves the beach ❤️

As far as I care, the bigger the dog, the better. I saw a guy and a Newfie (:)) and got to pet it. (newfie..:))

I know that. But I heard, that as bigger dog, the worse, because you have to waste so much money for dogs' food. Food will use up very quickly when you have a big dog than a small dog. If you're rich, you can afford a big dog.

A breed of water dog also extremely confortable to work on water and feeling happy and natural to do it is the Portuguese Water Dog or Cao de Agua Portugues !!!

have you found any rubber chew toys that hold up to the newfs? ours loves the squeaky balls but his latest challenge is to see how quickly he can remove the squeaky part. we also have the "Kong" heavy duty rubber bones but he ends up chewing the end of those off as well. thanks Remington the Newf
