Please know there is hope for children with autism or any other disability. At age 2 1/2 my son was diagnosed with PDD NOS, which is on the autism spectrum. Today at age 30 he lives a normal, productive, and independent life but it took years of hard work and dedication. Here's a few tips that I've learned that helped my son. 1) Receive an early diagnosis for the child at a young age from a psychiatrist through an independent evaluation. Do not trust the school to provide an accurate picture of the child's diagnosis or needs 2) Early intervention services are key for the child's development. 3) Familiar yourself with the state and federal special education laws to advocate for an appropriate education for the child. Be prepared to fight for the child's special education services when dealing with the school. Special education services are expensive so they may say the child doesn't need it or resist in some way. Educating yourself will help you when feeling intimidated by the school. Under federal law parents or legal guardians are equal PPT members, which means you have equal rights with the school. You also have due process rights when or if you disagree with the services being recommended by the school. There are special education lawyers that can help you and your child. If you win then school districts can be ordered to pay your legal fees. You're the child's best advocate. 4) Never give up on yourself or your child and work with the child at home. Special needs children process information differently but they understand even though they're unable to communicate them. Devotion is important because the time and effort you spend will save your child's life as well as your own. 5) Miracles are possible but we must earn them by doing the work. God helps those who help themselves. Have faith.

Even though my sun sign is in Gemini, I always listen to the water signs. I have a Pisces rising, and Cancer moon and those water signs rule my life quite a bit. You are right about how I feel about finding the right person. I divorced my husband many years ago. He swam shallow, I swim deep. I had to get out of it so I could be myself.

Precious cargo. My little elderly dog had a quick onset medical event. He might be dying but all I could think is carrying his little body into the vet for treatments the last two days in hopes of doing the best I can. To do all I can. I wait. Gosh this resonates so strongly with me! I’m Pisces and feel overwhelmed by the energies around me and am struggling to ground myself. Am feeling very low and anxious. Dreaming vivid healing dreams and sensing all sorts of things. Don’t feel I have the love I need. Very defensive at the moment - need to protect myself. Feel there are negative energies around me and it’s affecting close relationships. I’ve walked away from relations for my sanity and mental health. I’ve also walked away from all hobbies I’ve been involved with as they were draining me not filling me. Motivation is very hard. Feelings are very very strong. But feel a lot of it is external. I’ve begun praying the rosary I’m not catholic but was brought up high Cof E. Memories from the past are so strong. Choices and decisions are knocking on my memory door. Did I make the right decision. Definitely feel bruised and need to retreat and my health is off! Mental definitely affecting the physical! World events affecting me hugely negatively. Trying to find strength but it’s hard. Not good with change. Things are tough for sure! I am strong but finding it hard to find! Thank goodness we have divine protection!! As a Pisces Maryann, I believe this Birthday month has been the worst I've ever experienced. Not that people weren't gracious in celebrating my birthday, actually I heard from people I hadn't heard from in some time. But I had to put down my cat Petey on the 19th and I questioned as to whether it was time, then my heat went out luckily I know someone who knows HVAC and he got it back up for me. I had angry words with a neighbor and that's not my usual temperament, it's like I was feeling everything all at once when I was already emotionally on a razor. I know the full moon lunar eclipse was a cleansing, but it was really taking its toll on me mentally and physically. The very day after the eclipse I felt things lighten up. I am so hopeful for a beautiful moving forward April. Love, light and healing to ALL. PS: I've never seen so much death at the moment, an old friends husband passed from Parkinson's and Dementia. He was a jet pilot in the military, they were married 50 years.

For this scorpio/pisces rising, it makes sense. I'm being pushed to apply for a promotion where I work, but I'm not much interested.
