Beautiful painting! I'm considering trying Brusho but my concern is are they lightfast? I've searched online for the answer, but haven't been able to find any information. I was wondering if you could share some light on this issue.
@WardStroud5 жыл бұрын
James Williams It’s my understanding that ink and die based paints by their nature are not light fast, however I would point out that there Chinese ink paintings that are thousands of years old and still cogent. I know for a fact that there are people who have been using Brusho for years and say that they’re still as vibrant as the day they painted them (Brusho has been in Europe for a long time) ...as always I would highly recommend never displaying in direct light of any kind man-made or natural and protecting with high-grade ultraviolet glass. Lightfastneas is relevant as even the finest oils breakdown after time. It’s my understanding that the pigments used in paint are the same regardless of the medium -oil acrylic pastel or water. Bottom line. Please contact Brusho directly if your concerned and get a definitive answer. I will continue to use Brusho but I always incorporate tube nd pigment based paints as well:) hope this helps!
