Hi Linda, I use the coupon code and it worked with their coupon and I sign up for 6 months subscription for this paint and all together I got $20 dollars off. So Thank You so much for the comparison much needed. I got recently bought the Meiliang(pretty excellent 36) and the Meiliang Pink Solid set of 52 which is the one I paid for to get the traditional one for free on the sale they had a few weeks ago. I have to say the Meiliang 36 set was also recently upgraded and it's so much better than the 52 set and better than their previous edition which I purchased 2 years ago and gave the paint away. I wanted to try the 52 set because of all the different paints and accessories but I was a little disappointed as some of the paint were easy to rewet and some were not. A lot of inconsistency with this set but it cute and I love the tin. I felt like the Meiliang 36 set now is actually bordering artist grade, the change of formulation from the previous set is quite good. I also try their 48 pink set before and I though it was good too. I do want to try the set of the new QiaoMei pallet on the dry pans, I got the feeling they are probably artist grade. I love Paul Ruben tubes of watercolors and the Meiliang 36 set but not the previous traditional half pans sets. Anyhow I hope this helps out others! Merry Christmas! P.S. Yay! I’m so glad that you got the discount!!! I found I liked the larger set of MieLiang watercolors more than the smaller updated set. The updated set ended up being a little too opaque for me the more I used it. They update them so often though I get confused as to which that is which lol. They are going to be sending me the dry pan set of the QiaoMei watercolors so I will be reviewing that when it arrives. I’ve requested an extra set for a giveaway so we’ll see if that actually comes through. 😀🤗💝
