Thank you, Louise; this painting tip will be really helpful for me. Fractured ribs are so painful, but I see Dom will have that beautiful grandson and an obviously devoted wife to see him through! I don't like to comment on peoples' looks, but your haircut looks adorable on you! You have your hands full, Louise, but don't forget to take care of yourself, too - you can't serve from an empty cup! God bless.

Oooh Ouch for Dom's painful looking injurys, and yet stil he smiles - you are wicked showing off his shorts!! As for the dog - it is beautiful! I have to say there are many new colours, some may call them gimmicky . . . but when all's said and done I find W&N are the most reliable - you just know they are going to work. I love the way you drop in the violet and give those superb shadows: I may try that on one of your other tutorials. I am having so much fun on my learning curve - Take care and get well soon Dom!

I’m new to watercolor and I often end up with hard lines where I don’t want them after the paint dries. Not sure if I am using too much water or fussing with it too much and not distributing the paint evenly....I’ve watched your videos on water control and I think I have it until I don’t. I imagine I just need tons more practice. I think this technique you showed may be the very thing I need. Glad to hear your husband is on the mend. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
@LouiseDeMasi3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Colleen. It takes a lot of practice and eventually it becomes intuitive. You do things and fix things and avoid things without even realising you are doing it but even after a lot of practice it happens sometimes. There's so much to think about when you paint with watercolour.

I’m so sorry to learn of Dom’s horrible accident! Grateful it wasn’t worse but I realize how very painful such broken ribs are. I will pray for a speedy recovery! As for this gorgeous vizsla, your artistic technique is inspiring. I love what you did with paint straight from the tube, then dried, then applied with a damp brush. I will employ that myself. The vizsla looks so beautiful, intelligent and insightfully rendered. You did this breed justice. You are an excellent artist, teacher and humorist! Spending time with you via your tutorials is a totally inspiring and refreshing experience! Thank you so very much, Louise! 💗
