@@sayantikasahu1413 I would suggest a camlin synthetic round brush no.10 or 12 but you will not get a point. only a mop brush will give you a point but you can try a smaller no 4 or 6 when you need a point like the leaves in the painting or the horns, hope it was helpful #artistsatwork53

That is very true, I tried doing it and just restarted it on a bigger watercolor paper, the only thing that ruins it for me is my watercolor paper lifts so I think I’ll have to invest into the expensive paper :( sadly

You gotta practice the brush strokes and maybe draw with a pencil beforehand. First try will never be perfect but the strokes used in this painting are fundamental, which is why it's for the beginners

Omg, this was so fun to paint this, as a beginner this was exciting. Some sort of tip is to tell when to dry layers. I dried layers at times that it was wet and I needed to add the tree or the deer. I love this though. Great job! Always room for improvement and room for fun. Happy New Year!

Hi Leann he has used light yellow, yellow ochre, red and a dark brown may be burnt sienna or vandyke brown. the darks are all warm hues so he has not used any blues like ultramarine. Hope that helps #artistsatwork53

His pallette for this painting is light yellow or lemon yellow, yellow ochre, red, burnt sienna or vandyke brown, i am not sure but in the darkest hue he might have mixed a little ultramarine but it does not look a cool shade, but I may be wrong, its difficult to judge the colors in the video. hope this answers your question. #artistatwork53

Dear Navneet the artist is not portraying reality here but he is creating an illusion with light , mid and dark tones to make it appear 3 dimensional and create depth in the painting by placing the light mid and dark tones in harmony to create the magic the illusion that certain things are far and out of focus while the more closer objects are crisper or sharper. Its difficult to explain in 2 lines. It took me 8 years to learn watercolors on my own through you tube, and I want to give back what I have learnt, through youtube. #artistsatwork53
