Another excellent painting! I really felt like mountain path at the foothills of Himalayas on bright morning! As usual, Sunil Ji's mastery over light and shade is visible in this painting also! He uses a loose painting technique but the final effect looks so realistic ! In this painting I see the 'negative painting' technique being used in some places - the grass at the lower left portion, the stems of the shrubs in the middle portion etc. The most complicated portion in the picture was the stone laid path with a large number of stones. But these were painted with ease and the final effect was very realistic! Thanks Sunil Ji for coming with another different theme/subject ! Your paintings give enough idea to interest viewers as to how to approach various types of subjects! Thanks !
