Your work is amazing, Susan !! I see more of the subtlety of your skill in this piece (even tho you say it’s “wild”, the very skillful capability comes through regardless which tells me it is just a part of you, not something you struggle to achieve) …absolutely beautiful… I loved the voice over topic as well. Super solid video and I agree about not being able to find videos like our friend Emily Artful etc…anymore! They are all either instructional or they are selling something and hard! Ugh. I’ve been working really hard on learning to paint florals and other background abstractions as well & have finally begun to figure it all out tho am still very much a beginner at such-it’s very fun but portraits are still my main love😂 100%

Hello my friend!! Thank you so very much for your kind words and ability to relate to exactly what I meant when I was talking about the old style videos! You knew exactly who I was referring to :-) I was able to leave in a lot of what I was doing from one step to the next because oddly enough, my pallet mixing and head getting in the way wasn’t occurring as long as usual so I didn’t have to edit out as much! Lol so I guess that’s finally working itself out editing wise… And I’m trying to keep the time lapse at about 80% so it’s still fast but you can still see what’s going on. Usually, it’s a little faster because the video is so long! I actually tried three times before this painting because I was trying to incorporate some little floral pieces in the background, and my idea was not coming to fruition and the whole painting was a complete puddly mess! 😝😜 I think I’m more of a paint, splatter girl myself… Lol I’m glad you enjoyed the topic. I knew it was relatable with most of my art, friends, of course you know that’s what I enjoy about your videos as well! Thanks again for taking the time and I look forward to talking to you soon!
