Hello everyone! In todays video I’ll show you how I painted two small landscapes with acrylic paint using watercolor techniques. Hope you’ll feel inspired to experiment and try a few of the techniques. Happy painting and have a great weekend :)

Love them! I do love how you added the extra "land" below the horizon...totally changed it from almost looking like below the horizon was a 3rd extra piece an brought it all completely together. I always like seeing how you do the large square and the small rectangle also...similar feel but totally different at the same time...neat to see the difference! Thank you also for the hardware brush ideas...I think, at least me, as someone teaching myself and reading and watching too much online, it can feel like you must have great brushes to make art, but that's not always possible and obviously not always necessary. So thanks again!
@TheDanishPainter3 жыл бұрын
Yes cheaper brushes help me stay looser. All brushes get worn and especially acrylic paint is difficult to clean out from the bristles so they will end up getting ruined eventually. I do have more expensive brushes but always return to the cheaper ones:)

Wonderful lessons and paintings as always. Do you use any acrylic medium to thin the paint?
@TheDanishPainter3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lulu and thank you! Usually I just use water when working on paper. Or I might do a combination of water and medium.

Thank you. I love watching your videos. Can I ask is there any risk of adding too much water if you are making a finished piece to keep for a long time?

I’ve found , the less detaile the colder the scenery more isolated it looks?

Hi, I love your style of painting and techniques . Do you do your larger painting on paper or on canvas?
@TheDanishPainter3 жыл бұрын
Both actually. Paper is usually A4 and A3 and canvas from a size 40x40 cm and up.

@@TheDanishPainter Thank you!! would love to see you doing larger project. If you cant do it one video, please try to make part 1, part 2....videos. Thanks again :)

Excellent technique. I’ve heard if acrylic paint is too thin and used with a gesso base, it can peel or crack. Has that been your experience?
@TheDanishPainter3 жыл бұрын
No never had any problems. Just make sure to use quality materials.
