NICE!! I feel like I can do these! So does your color laser printer smear at all? Some black laser prints have for me, just don't have a color laser to use yet so I was just wondering. TY!

Thank you so much :] Old black and white laser printers had the smearing issue, but it's not a problem any more. In fact, I think laser printers actually produce the most durable images out of all the home printing solutions. For example, I printed on plastic paper and I can leave the art outside, IN THE RAIN, and the ink doesn't even have any effect. It actually repelled water, like a thin layer of plastic. Not all color laser printers are equal. A common problem with modern ones is that they produce very grainy photos. On the canon printer I have (linked in the description) it's much less of a problem than the epson one and I hardly notice it. It's fair price to pay for the vibrant colors and deep blacks. I was never able to get that on any inkjet printer unless I was using shiny paper that was $4 a sheet.

Hi! Yes, that brush is very unpredictable with the exact color/ shade. It will change color randomly and also with pressure.

I am finding when I use the new aurora quill the end of each stroke is straight rather than tapering off. I’m using a Wacom bamboo pencil rather than an Apple Pencil, would this be why?

I also notice that your brush strokes are slightly transparent and layer like watercolours where mine are solid, I’m using an older iPad with an older version of procreate and wondering if this is the problem?

Hi Laura! The Wacom pencil is very different than the apple pencil, so I cannot offer an easy answer because I do not have a Wacom pencil to experiment with. Does the Wacom pencil have pressure sensitivity? For example, does the line get wider when you press harder? You might have to follow some special instructions to make this fully work with Procreate. Have you 'connected' the stylus to procreate?

Yes it has pressure sensitivity, I regularly use the Wacom pencil for working on procreate and with other brush sets it seems to work fine and I actually hadn’t realized it wasn’t working right with your brushes until watching this! Probably time to upgrade my equipment I think.

@@laura56 I highly recommend the apple pencil :) have you adjusted the pressure curve at all? The watercolor brushes are designed for a default curve setting

@Calvin at DrifterStudio What colour mode do you keep when you want print your artwork. I recently did a artwork and then printed it but the colour wasn't that good also the watercolour effects weren't visible when i did the printing. Can anyone help me out with my problem

Hi Suman! It really depends on your printer. I got very good contrast and textures when I print with a setting called 'relative chromatic black-point compensation'. This is a print setting you can find in photo editing apps like Photoshop or affinity. I think even Lightroom probably has it. Some printers need a little color correction. Often, I will adjust the white balance and make it slightly more yellowish before printing. My printer has a very slight tendency to print everything a bit blue toned. Can you message me about this on Etsy and attach some photos of your prints? I can usually spot the problem that way.
