A very detailed demonstration that sheds some light on the way of applying the colours. This lesson allows neophytes to persevere. Thank you Mr Shibasaki.🏡🎁♥️👩🎨

Superb... thank you. Definitely looks like fun to me. Later: now I've had a chance to try this, at first I did not succeed. My brush is young, strong and proud and said it would not do this ...but with practice it started to appear on the paper, but not as good as grandpa's.. I will practise this...but I had interesting results doing this with a fan brush.

Dear friend .I see some fans here are requesting for you to paint .A Lotus pond. I think I only see one when I was a little girl..but here in kansas we dont have..I love them I think Lotus flowers are so secret beautifully.Thank you 😍
Master Shibasaki, my question is, paint is very expensive and you have very much paint on your palette in the videos, can you save the paint on the palette if you dont use all of it? Thank you, Becky
@chantillycat54153 жыл бұрын
My thoughts also. As a budget constrained artist I have to be as frugal as possible. Since watercolors can be rewetted, I tend to put more expensive paint on something that can be saved for reuse later.
I am picking up watercolor again as an adult after not touching them since I was a child, and I wanted to say: I did all kinds of fun and wild things with my brushes when I was a child, like your stamping technique, but my art teachers always scolded me and told me that it was wrong, and that I was "ruining" the brush by doing it. I wonder if a lot of your students struggle with this kind of technique because they have lost some of their childlike mental "freedom." I wonder if they have had ideas about how to do things taught to them, restraining their future creativity.
