I thought the original was very good. It looked like a storybook illustration. Once you changed the sky color and the other colors to be more organic, earthy, didn’t emphasize the exact shape of the windows added the people with different perspectives of size and changed the perspective to looking up which puts us in the picture it came alive and something to stare at and imagine what it would be like to be there. It puts imagination in the picture not just architecture. The original has good bone structure. Thank you for helping us grow as observers
With each stroke of the brush I learned.Thank you for sharing your perspective.

It needs great skill , experience and knowledge to understand the psychology of the students and teach them with a positive and encouraging way. Mr Shibasaki you are a fantastic teacher.
Both paintings are so beautiful in different way!! The original painting is very lovely like a castle in childrens story books or fables. It'd be beautiful if it's not drown with water colour. Sensei is always a water colour master !!
Wow! I would never expect a polish accent in your video :o Thanks for this!

you painted the cathedral in such a dreamy way, exactly how i remember it from my childhood :'))
I often focus too much on detail, and I'm scared to loosen the brushwork. In the process of applying it roughly, it doesn't seem like it will look nice. Sensei, you are so confident with the brush and you have a very good sense of colour relationships that can only come from decades of practice. Thank you for sharing your experience and tips with us :)

It’s just so amazing how those real masters can paint anything in their own way in such short time. I know shibasaki-sensei is just ROUGHLY painting to show us the points in limited time. Your 20min painting is still way better than my piece that I took 2 weeks…😹. Yes I know I shouldn’t even compare…lol Huge respect sensei!!
the original painting looks wonderful! props to the original artist, its nice to see this piece done in pop's painting style makes me curious how it would look like if pops were to make surrealist paintings. this gives me motivation to do more architectural paintings. hope you're taking care of your health pops! don't forget to stay hydrated 🤩👏💙🌼🏰
just a humble suggestion: I think that the shade of the people should be facing the other way, since the sunshine hits the front of the building , it should also applied to the people. Great painting though, learned a lot while watching your video!
