WATERCOLOUR 5 2019

This time I show how to keep the paper stretched and fixed using the old fashioned tape, that only works when you wet it.
You have to wait until the paper is large, but not starting getting dry at the corners before you tape it.
PAPER: Arches Watercolour paper 300 gr - Cold pressed grain fine.
PAINT: Winsor & Newton: Yellow Ochre, Antwerp Blue and Sepia.
Lucas: Ivory Black

I just love the Winsor & Newton Sepia colour. It is one of my favourites. I find it has such depth of shades you can achieve with it. Yellow Ochre is another of my faves and I especially like the Lukas brand. Your paintings are so wonderful. They embody such freedom and spirit. You are an inspiration. I lost all my watercolour paints/brushes/paper because of a tragic marital separation, so I have not painted for many years now. After finally surfacing from my catastrophic marital breakup, I have been once again awakened to the joy of creating images on paper with paints and water. Thank-you for your videos which have opened a portal to taking up a brush and “flowing” with the whispers of my soul. 👵🏻🐾💕🇨🇦

It isn't my favourite style, but it's so fascinating! Watercolour is the most versatile technique, you can paint hyperrealistic flowers or abstract and dreamy landscape following the waterflow. Magic!

es it is magical - Thant's why I like it. Some years ago I started painting a book with flowers for medical use, and then you have to pain every little thing and count the leaves etc. But very relaxing work!

This is absolutely gorgeous!!!! My favorite so far i think...though I may have said that on others as well😊 but your work is just amazing! As others have said, you make it look so easy. I loved, in this one, how to seemed to let it all dry, then went section by section adding what you wanted....add ocean waves to listen too and it is super relaxing, but it's also exciting because it inspires me so much and has me picturing colors and ways to do it. Julie Kraut It is glitted cardboard 400-700 gr not shining. Not made for watercolour. The problem is to get it acid free.

Am I the only/first to ask about the tape you use (I see you wet it then apply) and you refer to it in description. I've scanned comments and your supplies but am not finding any info. The tape is old-fashioned with glue, You have to wet it to activate it. You can buy it in all artists shops if they have watercolours.
