Hi Emma, thank you for your videos. A little suggestion for those on a really tight budget. When I practice brushstrokes and do not want to use my “cheap” watercolor paper I use poster paper. 1 Sheet at the $ store can be cut into 8x10” pieces. I then use just my brush and water. I can practice as much as I want and when it dries I can reuse that piece again and again. I have found that the blue colour poster paper gives the best contrast while practicing. I often do this as a stress reliever or doodling while on the phone.

Thank you soo much Emma! I don't know if you realise just how much you've helped me! For years I've been wanting to give watercolor a try. I've been watching you for almost 2 months. I know with all of my heart I can do this. Just as a young girl I learned how to sew and I became very good at it making my three daughters and even a son their clothing, not to mention clothing for myself and friends.
