Joanne Boon Thomas shares her Watercolour softening off and negative painting techniques
using flowers such as Hydrangea and Alliym as inspiration. The techniques Joanne shares can be used to paint any subject matter including florals.

Hydrangeas are my favorite flower, but they have always so intimidated me because of all of the detail, but with your softening off technique, I know I can do this!
