Thanks for showing the U.S. Floretral. ( l’m sure it’s probably the same as Canada) where l live. I heard the Aussie Floretral makes more cells. Yep the Aussie does produce more cells & lacing. I heard it was expensive to order it from Australia. Too bad they couldn’t make the same in Canada/ U.S. Thank You for showing the difference. I watch Gilly Kube in Queensland and she has so many cell’s & beautiful lacing. Thanks again Karen for your trial. ♥️💕

I'm happy you did this. There are so many people out there that truly believe that the type of floeteol their using is the reason why the bloom isn't working for them but I use nothing except American Floetrol and now you just also proved that its more about the consistency and the manipulation of the paints then anything. Great video Great art💗

Beautiful work. I actually like the way the American version turned out just a tad more than the other but I can't say that has anything to do with the floetrol. Thanks for sharing this. It's hard deciding which medium to go with sometimes.

Hi Karen! I have a question... do you have to use Color Art pigments? Can this be done with regular acrylic paints? (I use mostly Amsterdam brand, which is one of the few artist quality paint brands I can get here in Costa Rica) Maybe metallics or something mixed with pearl medium? Thanks in advance!

Great info at end too thanks. What is difference between Base Paint & Pouring Medium?? Please. I'm.confused..just started out & used only base paint with flowtroel..& colours. !??? Where does the pouring medium fit into it!. ? Thanks 😁😅😁
@WaterfallAcrylics2 жыл бұрын
Full recipe comes up on the screen at 26:10. The base paint is used alone as your first puddle on the canvas. The colors are mixed with the pouring medium recipe; and the cell activator is a separate recipe that goes on last before you puff.

@@WaterfallAcrylics thanks so much! Finally someone ki d enough to.explain in simple terms. Bless you..I'm.in uk..So having long wait for my Aussie Flowtrol!. We can only get Owatrol here..and can't get many cells. So I'm hoping it get better results asap. Thanks again. X😁😍😁

What's great about using the minwax w/c is it doesn't repel resin,even though it's an oil base. If you try 1part Amsterdam paint to 7 parts floetrol gives you smaller cells kiinda lacing effect

Than you for sharing with us. You do such beautiful work! I really appreciate your experimenting for American Floetrol, and sharing so generously. Even writing it down for a screen shot! You have always been generous, I think you must have a beautiful soul. I watch a lot of pouring channels in bed at night. And don’t want to wake my husband. Since I don’t want to use ear buds, I will watch them without sound. But I can’t do that with your channel, because I enjoy your personality so much! You are funny and real and you tell great stories, thanks again for sharing.

Karen (the good kind) I used your formula and it worked great! I was just using amster white and water, which worked well, but the addition of the glue in your formula added so much more structure to the cell lacing...I did three just to see if it came out the same ...it did and i love it! Thank you!
