My gran made it in 2 different versions. Pistachio or Lime. I still have to, my husband LOVED it when we were growing up. He objected like crazy the 1st time he knew I was making her lime version but now he loves it.

It isn't green enough, so it needed the food coloring. It should be made with pecans, as that is traditional. It makes a good salad or dessert.
