Its odd at the time I didnt appreciate Season 6 that much, I mean I thought it was good but there were a lot of changes. Now looking back its probably one of my favourite seasons. I loved that there was a consistent story from episode 1 to episode 20 and the new characters all had major flaws to them but they were still likeable despite those flaws and the flaws didn't make them annoying. Like Jess, Jess was a great, complex character and one of my faves.

Laetitia Bluebrooke. I liked Karen Fisher more. Unlike Rachel Mason Karen acted like a proper head of school. For a start Karen Fisher announced herself in the proper manner and let everybody know where they stand. O.K. Karen would rebuke her number two Christopher Mead when neccessary, but Karen Fisher did not talk down at Mr. Mead like Rachel did to Eddie Lawson. If Karen Fisher succeeded Jack Rimmer instead of Rachel Mason that idle twit Budgeon would have been sacked at the end of the third series, if not during it. Also Maxine would have remained in the show up until the time that Chloe, Donte and Eddie Lawson left. Also that cow Kim Campbell would have got the boot for for her inexcusable behaviour towards Andrew Trenaman who was a guest at Waterloo Road in the second to last episode of series 4.
