Waterloo to Pinckney Trail - Day 3 of 3 from Green Lake Campground to Silver Lake - 5/15/2022

This is the third and final day of our first overnight backpacking hike from Portage lake to Silver Lake. It was along day, but not as hilly as the previous two days. All in all it was a great experience!

In a few weeks I'm getting ready to do this hike with my 16 year old son and his friend. This will be our first multi-day hike.

Too tired to do an ‘Outtro’!?! 😂 …. That last couple of miles from trail marker 4 does kick your but don’t it 😅… great video guys and some lovely drone footage as well … I subscribed us little guys gotta stick together! You should check out Tridudy on the trail…. He’s from Michigan and does some great hiking videos as well … tell him Dave Mc sent ya…. ATB

@@petitbrosoutdoors ….. are you planning to do the Fife loop trail this year? You should put it on the to do list it’s a nice hike… I live over in Colorado now so I’m trying to put some overnight loop hikes together … but moving into a new house and all that entails it’s been difficult to get anything off the ground ….but I’m determined to do at least a couple before the backpacking season is over …. The trout fishing is awesome over here so I’ll definitely be taking a fishing rod along with me when I do…. ATB Dave Mc

Colorado? That's a beautiful place to live. I hope to hike there in the near future. I did a few hikes in Ireland in May, and we just got back from doing a section of the AT in Virginia. I'm trying to get the videos edited and out, but life is slowing that down. Lol. ✌️
