Watermanagement in the Netherlands

De corporate video Watermanagement maakt deel uit van de serie The Delta Approach, een korte algemene introductie van Nederland op de thema's Watermangement, Mobiliteit en Transport. De serie zoomt in op de voordelen die het leven in een delta met zich meebrengt. En natuurlijk op de kunst om ons land goed te beschermen tegen het omringende water.De video is bedoeld voor delegaties die het buitenland bezoeken en derhalve beschikbaar in de talen Engels, Frans, Duits, Chinees, Spaans en Nederlands.

This is a mistake alot of people make because in 2007 the IPCC published a climate change paper with the wrong precentage in it. Anyway around 26% of the land is below sealevel but this precentage will be higher in the future because of the rising sealevel and part of the country slowly sinking. But the parts that are below sealevel are not the only parts of the country that are prone to floods. That precentage is around 55%. Often the areas around the rivers are forgotten when people think about floods because they are to focused on the below sealevel parts of the country.
