Some places in Spain celebrate “El día internacional de la sandía” on the same day. There is a village in Extremadura, called Villanueva de la Serena, that holds the Spanish record for the largest watermelon (nearly 100 kg). Beautiful summer wrapping 🍉🎁❤️💚

I searched for the festival, “El día internacional de la sandía” and found some videos about the competition for the largest watermelons! 🍉 I never knew that the watermelons can grow to 100 kg!😳😲 Thank you for sharing - it's amazing to know watermelon can entertain us in so many different ways around the world! 😆
