Everything we know about Lucky People • this is obviously about ciara and was meant for her •the video was more than likely made after her and awsten broke up. •The video was shot in Massachusetts Here's some theories ( IF THE VIDEO WAS SHOT AFTER THE BREAKUP.) • Awsten is wearing a blue and white necklace, blue is representation of sad and or gloomy, there is refrences to Gloom boys in the song. White is representation of purity,light, beginnings, and protection this can all relate to Awstens personality and the lights around him. •in the beginning of Lucky People the lights Awsten is holding aren't plugged in from what we can see, this can represent and so can the flashing lights that even though His heart is broken he is somewhat forgiving and can still love. • " safe from the world." as he wraps the white fairy lights around his neck, maybe this is him saying that he feels protected amoung the lights and that he's feeling a bit suicidal? But the lights are here to protect him and keep him safe from himself and the big bad world because the person who was supposed to isn't there any more. • "from a love I can't control." Can relate to the lights flashing and him still feeling love for her through his anger. • "happy birthday,Merry Christmas to the one I call my Mrs." Is the connection to Gloom boys, in gloom boys it says that Christmas and birthdays are not on his wishlist. This lyric could be saying he's finally found a reason to put them on his wishlist due to the girl, Ciara he's found at the time. • "sitting, waiting for your call." This can relate to the telephone booth we see later, this can mean that deep down in his heart he's still hung up on Ciara and is waiting for her to come back, because he is so vulnrable and in love that he would. • at 0:50 Awsten wraps a soon to be unlit length of lights around his left ring finger. This can be a metaphor that love he once knew has died and that he's agnologing that, that will never happen with the person who once lit his heart up. •" I know it's hard to let yourself be fine" this could be a hint at Ciara's self destructive behaviors. • " my common sense is powerless" and " you've got me more than clumsy." Are both other Parx refrences which is self explanatory •the last lyric is but you're my yellow, my lovely. Yellow is awsten' s nickname for ciara because she's the yellow power ranger. Okay so I have a "theory" if you will, it's depressing and sad sorry It just popped into my head; okay so what if Awsten is looking for happiness, and he hides his depression that's what the lights are for, to distract people from seeing his depression. he walks around an empty city symbolizing that he's looking for someone to help him the way he needs it but he can't find anyone who really gets him and so at the end he puts to light on the phone waiting for someone to help him, waiting for them to realize he's not okay and finally gives up and the lights on top of the phone and him sitting there with his eyes closed symbolizing that he hung himself, he killed himself. honestly, hearing this breaks my heart. this is such a beautiful song, yet it feels so bittersweet. i can only wonder how much the album will change from the writing/producing process to now. i cant imagine how hard it is for awsten to release an album most likely entirely written about a woman who did that to him. i really hope the angst carry's through into the final release somehow, all of this is is so hard to decipher lol.

@@ambermedina-montoya8875 her and i were as close as close could be. seeing eachother weekly, promising eachother eternity. one day she od'd and my mum didnt want me talking to her for a while and so i didnt talk to her for a day. i ended up od'ing a month or so later and she didnt treat me the same since then. things got really toxic really fast after that and her and i just ended up fighting daily, blocking eachother, and one day we were fightnig and i just ended it. i wish we'd never ever met at this moment, its given me so much trouble, thats a basic summary

My very first concert, this Tuesday the 30th. I attended my very first concert EVER! I went with the love of my life and Waterparks is her all time favorite band! When this song came up Awsten asked all the couples to get on eachother shoulders and over 40 people went up! We waved our lights, it was beautiful.
