So I've known about Waterparks for like 3-4 years now and liked some of their songs, but I only got INTO them last week because I saw them live. Watching these interviews is so inspiring to me because Awsten reminds me of myself so much and it's really comforting to see someone who thinks in a similar way to me. The way he writes his lyrics is the way that I wish I write mine. This interview has given me so many tips on how to write what FEELS good and not what I want others to like.
