When I saw them live I didn't know much about the actual band members, I just knew a few of their kind of pop-ish songs. kate misses parx Well the lyrics “Sometimes when I'm with you I remember to slow down To take a breath and let these people stay floor bound, Cause I don't need anything the way that I need you” gives this a love song affect because basically this song is him being a salty shithead lmao and being tired of people in the music industry who bash his band’s music just because their sound has changed from their older, “harder” material such as the “Airplane Conversations” and “Black Light And just being tired with fake ass people in general but at the end of the day When he’s with the person he loves, he remembers to take care of himself and not care too much about what other people think because there is someone out there that cares about him. This also makes this song real sad for me after what happened though.
