Waterrail hunting on a cold winterday

When winter gets tough, it´s the time og year, where you get the chance to se the Waterrails (Vandrikser) out in the open. Their normal feeding grounds are frozen and the are forced to seek food in the few places left with open water.Most of the year, the live a very hidden life in the reeds og often you only hear their piglike call.
