I got a smokin' deal on someones cup-making supplies and bought it on a whim, having never done anything like it before. It's all been sitting in my garage until I gather the courage to try it. I just found your channel and have watched several of your videos. You make the process very approachable! I haven't taken the leap yet, but I'm getting more an more excited with every video I watch. I love your style! Informative, fun, and chill.

@@wickedwhiskeydesigns I’m right there, girl! Bought my acetone yesterday to strip some of the old cups. Got my PPE. Is there a beginner friendly glitter cup tutorial that you recommend? Or should I just dive in on the diagonal swirls and ombres?

I went through the glitters I received and I really like ‘sea glass’ and ‘Ursula’s lair’ from Glitter Makes It, if you have anything similar to either of those. My color pallet is a little limited. I am so stoked! If you manage to get your husband to help, tell him I really appreciate it!

@@themonroeski ooooo.. those are beautiful!!!!... do you want a tutorial on how to work with chunky glitter or how to work with fine glitter? they are basically the same on the fundamentals but for chunky i would just show you a couple of extra steps because chunky can have a bit of an attitude at times.. hahah!!!

the burnout in this tumbler making world is so real!!!! I am in florida so everyday feels like beachy pool tropical vibe ... lol... but let me just say, i have a pool and i love my pool but ... i have not been in it in like 4 years ... and the only person in my house who uses my pool on the daily is my dog Bailey ... she swims like a fish .. so basically I pay a lot of money every month in pool electricity for my dog to live her best spoiled life and i am 100% ok with that! hahahaha .. ugggg hugs to you hon, you can't rush coming back from feeling frazzled but i am sure you will make something beautiful

I love everything about this tumbler, it looks awesome! That holographic vinyl is so pretty. Great tip on backing the waterslide with white vinyl, I'm definitely going to use that technique. I have such a hard time also with making decisions on what to use when designing a tumbler, it's a real struggle sometimes lol.

Cute tumbler and your tutorial of how you changed the image was great! I use Cricut but I think I could manage the modifications with what you showed. One day I will tackle waterslides ❤ Pretty sure I have that holo vinyl from a multi pack I got from Tekwrap, not I REALLY need to find a use for it.

thank you!!! sometimes you can change up the decal and sometimes the decal says NO .. lol.. i was lucky this one wanted to play nice with me .. and waterslides are a special kind of hell but once you figure out the ways that work best for YOU, they aren't so bad... um.... sometimes! .. lol

Such a cute cup and love the decal but this is why I’ve started ordering UVDTF decals because I can’t figure out bleach spot no bleach spot clear waterslide or white, etc. 😂 Loved the video!

oh girl.. trust me .. the UVDTF vibe is getting so strong with me!!! lol ... i think the reason i havent jumped is because other than this channel, my business is all custom tumblers and what then what happens if you put a cup up and then you cant get the same decal??? but ...ooff.. i do love them so i am hardcore thinking of jumping in with them

omg girl, you just made a mistake telling me that because i can talk about flytraps for hours!!!! hahaha.. just ask my husband (insert eye roll)... they are easy as long as you keep them in sunshine and in a pot sitting in water (basically) but i have lost a few here and there too .. i think we all have!!! lol .. if you are on FB, there is a FB group called Venus Fly Trap Enthusiasts... it is a super nice group, super helpful and i am in there too .. come find me!! lol.. i can walk you through everything :)

@KellieDTravis oh no, free him of that dome.. you were right to do that. They Thrive best in sunshine and fresh air where they can catch bugs and a boggy bottom. Believe me, I did the same thing before a long time ago. I kept them in their little plastic dome and never watered them and never let them have outside sunshine and bugs.. needless to say they were unhappy and did not last long face lol!
