Thanks so much for this video! I have this same exact filter and it cracked across the bottom (apparently a known issue) and I bought a replacement lower-half only, All was good, correct part and same manufacturer but when I went to put the band clamp back on, the o-ring is so tall it was hell trying to get the clamp pulled tightly enough to get the bolt through far enough to catch the threads of the nut (think like, it looked like a double-stuff Oreo with the o-ring being the stuffing, instead of a regular one) I sat on it, rubber mallet-ed it, filled it with water and turned the pump on for a sec (no suction, oh well) and it took all my and my husband's strength to muscle it together to grab and then ratchet it down tightly. Do you have any thoughts on this or tricks to make it easier next time I want to clean my cartridges? Thanks again for the helpful video!

I had this same problem. I had to lube up the o-ring and the underside of the top in order to get the clamp on. I used silicone lubricant. Good luck!
