Regarding Delap also they’ve got Horst back from injury and most Ipswich supporters said he’d likely be their nr 1 striker ahead of Delap. I.e. Delap is probably a minutes risk longer term too.

Am I wrong in thinking Calvert Lewins historical data makes him one of the worst goalscorers in the country in the last few years? Not sure how we are saying he is a good goal scorer who will take his chances with a straight face? He has never been that guy, and has always been an injury prone type.

I think that’s because of his fitness. People can’t be expected to be confident finishers when they can’t string a run of games together. Whenever I watch him, he doesn’t strike me as a bad finisher. If he can stay fit, I’d expect his conversion rate to improve

I think another reason Chris Wood is a good choice is because of how good Forest look as a team. Vardy DCL Duran Nketiah Delap all are either a minutes risk or play in much worse sides. I plan on keeping Joao Pedro and getting Wood too. alongside Haaland obvs

I need a captain for this week. Right now I’m looking at Eze or TAA because I refuse to captain Haaland vs Arsenal’s defense (when at full strength, they’ve handled him the last couple of years). My options are to sell Isak for Watkins or DCL. If I go with Watkins, he’ll be my captain, but it makes me a bit nervous. If I go with DCL, I’ll have the funds to take a hit for Salah, who’d be my captain. What do you think? Is the second option (my preference) worth the hit?
