This type of equipment got dumped onto pallets and most of it got demilled/scrapped and melted down. Sad to see so much stuff destroyed. Everything got swapped out with blackbox SDR radios. A large number of operators retired (myself included) not to be replaced. SDR systems can replace a large number of employees since you can record entire swaths of RF spectrum to be analyzed automatically and anything of interest would be flagged for further analysis and reporting.

Looks like a great rx but I can feel your frustration with the key bounce and quirky operating procedures. Someone paid a lot of money for it when it was new!
