Great video WatTheWut, I really enjoyed what you had to say about Love Live have not seen any of them before. One small criticism, could you even out the volume of the clips from show and your voice over as you're really quiet in comparison to them.

Character in show: "I regret not doing this before, but after finding the courage to do it, even if I didn't win or completely fulfill my goals I do not regret this and I found new friendships and a direction in life." ThatAnimeSnob fanboy: "There's absolutely no themes in this anime because the stakes aren't character killing each other, I am smarter than you for having this narrow preference."

I regret watch this, I want to cry now. Sunshine story always bring impact to me. The "0" really kill me inside when I first watch that scene. They trying their best but still get 0. I guess most of us can related to that situation. Something in this world, no matter how hard you try there are something unreach and there are always someone better than we are. This "0" things also apply to Love Live seiyuu.

Love Live was the third anime that I had watched starting from a magazine that had Yohane on it wearing the Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru Kai Outfit. At first, I had no idea why I relate to Aqours more than U's, but after seeing this video. I realized that me and Aqours both had regrets and I broke down crying when you talked about it

I’m going to be honest. I had to pause a few times becomes I was starting to tear up. I got into Love Live about 3 months ago yet it’s made a huge impact on me and I relate to a lot of the girls, especially Chika. I’ve been really down lately and I’m trying to find ways to turn my 0 into something. Hopefully that day comes. If not well I want to say I at least gave it my best shot. Incredible analysis and I apologize for the emotional comment lol. The girls mean so much to me.

@@GeneralVan Hai! We need to stay strong 💪 To be honest we're all underprepared for this thing called life. There isn't a guide unfortunately and I've struggled a lot to find something I can pursue with all of my heart (which is why I relate to Chika), primarily because of my lack of self-faith. But we need to stay strong and keep our heads up not only because we owe it to our friends and family. We owe it to ourselves. I've found solace in wholesome stories (like this and other slices of life), probably because I want it in my own life and I know it won't appear if I keep wishing. Therefore, stay strong :) *I love your first comment btw

To each their own I guess. I dropped LL somewhere around Eli joining because I found the songs too saccharine and I found Rin's nyaa and Nozomi's groping cringy. Not that I can't take a joke, just that I'm sick and tired of some of the tropes. I dropped Sunshine after ep 3 because the blond girl came out as a deus ex machina. I thought the girls had it too easy. Also the show had a strong case of "same face syndrome" which sometimes I can get past by and sometimes it just annoys me too much. I bear no ill will towards LL or its fans, it's just that some if the design choices and execution hold it back for me. I still wish there was an OVA centered on Eli's past, then her meeting Nozomi and then maybe an ending towards the time they joined muse, but with Eli's pov on the events. I don't regret giving LL a shot (pun intended) and I might rewatch eventually. Meanwhile I still hold Wake up Girls! (Esp the Seven Idols prequel ova) in high esteem and give my seal of approval to Idolmaster (to not sound like an hypocrite - yes they also have saccharine songs and a bit of same face syndrome but overall I could "connect" with Imas a lot easier. And Chihaya"s arc was beautiful)

Regret is indeed something important in the whole Love Live franchise, but Sunshine covers it greatly. It's a pain for Chika being who she is, so she seeks the shine she needs and along with Aqours, she succeeded. I adore how you tackled that.

Thank you for the beautiful video and analysis...While working to make the AqouRainbow happen I spent a lot of time dealing with the possibility of having to regret the amount of time and effort the the team and I were putting into it. I thought that the parallels between what we were trying to accomplish in real life and what early Aqours had done were funnily ironic at times, especially when the small admin team received offhand backlash and other difficulties leading up to the concert. I'm so glad we made that 0 into a 1 with everyones support, and the spirit of Love Live really managed to shine true upon the success of the project. It really is so important to me and so many other LLers, thank you for giving meaning to these memories of both the franchise and the fanbase 💕🌈

The first moment i listened to Start Dash i was captivated from the beat and the lyrics, love live has taught me a lot of things and saved me from a dark time when i just wanted to dissapear and end all. This review is so beatifull and well made, thank you so much. I'm kinda sad that i live in south america and didnt have a chance to see the live concert in AX, but i'll try my hardest just to make my dream come true and see them live or at least visit the areas that inspired the anime.

I'm glad I watched Love Live because it wasn't just a flashy girl group anime, it had some meaning behind it. The time the girls of Muse spent together as a group was really important to them and continued to play a big part in their adult lives, especially the first-years. Maki did indeed become a doctor but she also made time for herself to continue making music (especially the piano). Had she not joined Muse, she would have regretted giving up on her musical talent. Hanayo always had trouble speaking up while Rin could never accept herself. It's because they had the help and support of their group member that they were able to get over these issues. Had they not, these problems probably would have continued to haunt them both in their adult lives.

Hey I came from your anituber video I only watched Love Live muse and refused to watch sunshine because muse has such a special place in my heart. Like my group of friends I met in anime club all had a character assigned to us I was Kotori and we all cosplayed them together as well. But seeing your analysis I have to watch sunshine bc even though it felt like I could relate to muse I feel in this point of my life now more than ever I can relate to sunshine more. I feel like a failure now more than ever bc now that I've graduated I haven't really amounted to anything (yet). So yeah thanks definitely gonna start soon!

Love Live is so precious to me. Although I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT LOVE LIVE FROM THE ANIME TO THE SEIYUUS TO THE STORY, but there is still something about all the serieses and characters and stories of Love Live makes me want to cry. I have been watching Love Live for 5 or 6 years and I still have the same feeling of LOVE towards that ANIME, AND IT'S CHARACTERS, SEIYUUS ( VOIVE ACTRESSES) , THE MOBILE GAME, AND FOR SURE THE STORY. I can say that I AM IN LOVE WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT LOVE LIVE, AND HOPE IT WILL CONTINUE FOREVER.

This made me not regret watching Love Live. Because of love live, I started what I thought out as a silly crossover. I did face hardships when writing that story because of the immaturity. I regretted being immature. But because of love live, because of the trials, I finally emerged out of the crossover with an original story. I cannot be more thankful for Love Live's existence, and Sailor Moon, however much I might dislike those series. And for this video.

As someone who watched the anime a lot of times and follows the entire franchise, I loved your analysis, I use to think similar things and watch the meanings of the series in different points of view. Keep doing it, I know there is more and you can see it easily and explain it in a way that everyone can understand. The only thing I'd make better, is to elevate the volume of your voice, but anyway, It's an incredible video. Thank you!

I've often not given my best in many things cause I don't want to give it all yet just to fail... I've felt that pain a few times and after so much self doubt I'd just rather put up a facade and never really know what could have been... But I think after this I'll try and let go of my fears. I've got exams coming up and I don't want to not do my best - it's going to be tough but I'm more determined than ever to finally give it my all even if I fail. I also want to do my best for my best friend. I'm scared that I'll have to let her go one day cause I'm not as driven and I feel somewhat of a burden to her... but until then I'll give it my all. Thank you for helping me realise this

There's a novel where a heartbroken girl meets with the devil and happily gives him her negative feelings in the heat of the moment just so she could let go of the pain. But obviously she loses the positive too, and the whole story is about the chase to take it all back.
