Thumbnail pose is accurate, I do that every time I hear something performed/written beautifully. Nice, thorough review as always, and I really appreciated you delving into the meaning of "Love's Sorrow" a bit at 5:48. And poggers to Tiffany Poon for performing this so incredibly well.

Roses are red Violets are blue Practice 40 hours a day But Tifanny’s still better than you

if you fly west at half the speed of the earth's rotation around the world while practicing piano (starting west of the prime meridian), it is theoretically possible to practice more than 40 hours in one day alternatively, practice exactly at the north or south pole

Ahhh I love Tiffany's playing so much, her dynamics are insane, 10:18 made me laugh because I did the same thing LOL (sidenote from a german-speaker if you want to know how to pronounce Liebesleid it's "lee-bis-laid" but you say "a" like in "ah" if that makes sense?) As usual, great video!

An amazing analysis of an amazing performance! I’m playing this piece for diploma and Tiffany Poon’s video has been my main inspiration whilst learning it, so watching you go through her playing was very interesting for me!

Have you heard her Op. 9 No. 2? So good, When I was learning the piece I listened to it nonstop, her rubato felt so perfect to me

I’m gonna learn this song! I memorized the first page in the first 2 days, but it was INCREDIBLY difficult to play right! Any ideas on how to make it sound pretty and not strained? Especially with the tremolos?

Not sure what section you're referring to, but generally keep the wrist loose and emphasize the downbeats for some bounce. Hope that helps!

Love your reviews so much. Just an amateur piano player so I can't appreciate great pieces and pianists; I just know they are good but not phenomenal. Your explanations and descriptions about dynamics, articulation and layering is just brilliant which now allows me to truly appreciate these pianists even more!

Im a self taught pianist and i can play pieces like moonlight sonata 3rd movement and danse macabre and stuff but I don’t know how to read music tho when i tell people i cant read music they go crazy for some reason...(in a bad way)

It is a bad thing. You’re only learning the music superficially.

Or Kate liu. Zimmerman's is beautifully crisp and clear while Kate's is super mellow and sounds likes it's played without hammers. It's a great contrast

Tiffany is an amazing pianist! First heard her during the last Chopin competition. She's established quite a KZbin presence since then. Definitely recommend checking out her content! Just be aware she's very much a classical pianist and doesn't make any content specifically related to anime. :)

People be like stop talking Your lie instead realize the that fking anime introduce 1000s to classical music me personally wasn't into it but after your lie I started practicing classical music as I realized the impact classical music can have mixed with the amazing scenes of that anime so instead of picking out negative shit focus on how it introduced many to burried classics in this era of electronic musics!
