and also i think there is one thing that make wave cooker is slightly better than the other DoT wepon is the burn tick on wave cooker is faster than the other weapon. if the flamethrower tick is two time damage per second, then the wave cooker dela almost 3 tick burn every second. it just small difference but if you run it on 10 stages you'll see the different at the last 3 stages

Never played deep rock galactic, but about a week ago your videos popped up on my recommended and I've been binging ever since. Love the content man, perfect stuff to put on and watch when I get into bed.

Time exclusive dives could be dives that last a certain amount of time rather than a certain amount of levels, encouraging you to finish levels as fast as possible.

The generic beam weapon range does still exist. However I've had a couple of runs lately where in each of them one particular Gold/Generic Upgrade would never appear. Be it Pickup Radius or XP Gain or Beam Range. Maybe the pool of available upgrades has a cap and when you have some diversity of weapons with a solid amount of synergies, some generic upgrade gets pushed out of the pool(?)

The levels gained from ancient knowledge is affected by your exp gain bonus

@@craigfunk3453 Thanks, i figured that out recently. at first I thought it only gave 3 straight levels from where you were before you took the artifact and then left you at the same progress except now you're 3 levels ahead

The burn stacks are probably applied on a “tick” basis. Every “tick” of time something is within the beam applies a stack, if the beam passes them by before a tick happens they don’t get a stack. This saves a lot of resources from a coding perspective.

When focusing on a weapon, I think it's cool to get more beams or multi-levels only on the support weapons. No other direct upgrades.

What was crazy is the boss’ life was still at roughly 70%, but he started planting those rows of rock in the ground, which only starts happening when he’s at about 40% health because the burn stacks were killing him so quickly. The game literally couldn’t keep up.

Based on my 35 years of gaming, time exclusive would be for example: weapon mastery run with recon scout on magma core and it's only available for 3 hours with special rewards upon completion. I am only speculating but hope I'm right. Like daily quests. Edit: They need co-op runs. 2 man max

I knew that the slow was op. But hot damn, the status buffs did the well done wife well Mid run, the dreadnought spike nitra, I don't think the spikes can drop scanner materials. I like demo engi with grenade mining. A lot. I don't claim any super special inside ultra mega secret inside knowledge. I've just blown them all up a lot. Even with 3 gold scanners

50/50...half the time it's a wave cooker, half the time it's a wife cooker.

Doesn’t the wave cooker target the most enemies? So when all the mobs around the boss die, it retargets where it would hit a larger number of enemies. That is why the target switch on the narrow beam has the utility to focus bosses.

I don't want you to know how long it took me to finally understand yor are saying "wave cooker" and not "wife cooker". Every . single . time ... "wife cooker, why?" Is that a joke i do not get? Edit: I placed the hyphens wrong. I was asking myself the question until it clicked. I am not asking the readers. I like how he pronounces the Colette wife cooker and the impact eggs.

It’s just because of Cub’s accent. When he said “wave cooker” in the past, it sounded like “wafe cooker” and people started asking him why he was calling it a “wife cooker.” The joke / meme stuck and he know calls it a wife cooker all the time.

That is a good question! I feel like it should, but I have never heard any official info about that. Edit: Got some info from the official discord and it seems like it does only affect weapon damage :(
