Black lines is not a problem with your phone/camera, the lights above have a refresh rate that is either faster or slower the the FPS you're recording settings.

not so much a correction but a key detail is that it's still very close to the same. very common with cheaper LED lights

Possibly you need to turn the flicker filter on to suit the mains frequency. Most likely set to 50hz and your mains is 60hz. Otherwise cheap junk led lights that have a dodgy dc converter.

Might get a lot of thumbs down for this, but consider it a DM from a concerned viewer. I've been a sub since a year or two, cant remember when I subbed, but love the channel and your videos, missed you a while, but I am concerned with your health. I have many questions, don't know if the USA has rules for this, but I'm from the EU, so we kinda do things different and have a ton of rules regarding health and safety... I don't want to judge personal choices if you made them consciously so I'm okay if you are, but here is my take on this clip. Sanding and grinding paint off of fiberglass outside, shouldn't you use full breathing and closed eye protection? Inside, you've got a simple Covid mask on, but you've only got your glasses on, instead of fully encased goggles and fully covered breathing mask. This stuff get's into your lungs and stays there, does damage and is processed slowly. Handling and cutting dry fiberglass without gloves? The polyester resin most used in fiberglass composite builds like this is full of all kinds of very unpleasant things, including styrene, a known carcinogen. Using earbuds (probably noise-cancelling) as hearing protection during grinding? Probably a podcast or similar, but hearing protection should be standard here. I hope your company supplies you with the appropriate PPE for these jobs and has them checked regularly. Side note: Vaping is even worse than smoking, I know it's a hard habit but trust me, I've done both for way too long, and still feel the consequences every time I take a breath and need daily medicine and I've yet to reach 40. Hope you are doing well and healthy! Keep the vidjayos going.

Hey brother, completely understand you're concerns and I appreciate it. PPE is always available and I make the choices of what I use based on individual situations. I admit, I am not one to use alot of PPE. It's something I've been working on recently. Heck, I wasn't even thinking of wearing any type of mask when I was indoors. But it was available and I went for it. Again, appreciate your concern, and I will strive to be better. Thanks for hanging on for so long. Keep your .... in a vice.

A KN95 (I’m assuming it is) is better than standard dust masks one would typically wear for the job. Looking at the mask, it had a good seal. A full face P-100 respirator is completely ideal, and probably needed for regular fiberglass work. However, for the occasional small fiberglass job (doing it once in a blue moon) should pose minimal risk with a KN95/N95/FFP2 mask.

EU is on another level with safety, my mom a nurse, always said it was because of the social medicine and how keeping everyone safe and healthy is a team benefit. But let me tell you, in the US, on like a usual jobsite in middle america, its like a race to the bottom, who can smoke the most vapes while climbing a ladder, zero gloves, zero masks, i can not even begin to tell you. Lol its been changing for a few years now but man ive seen and done some stupid shit. Cheers to living past 40 now! Maybe even 60 @@Frechy69

Have you ever had to work on the plate where the manifold goes through the wall? I had one of mine crack and I replaced it with a steel plate. Going to do the others when the pool is down this summer.

Why not have a preventative maintenance contract or use certified replacement parts? Good job on the temporary fix. Asking for a friend

@@demonknight7965 @0:12 That's definitely not because the camera isn't focused, It's just a bit that's blurred and done by user. I'm guessing the box had safety risk with box and would get in trouble if reported.

If you ever have trouble removing duct tape, use WD-40...peel up an edge or corner of the tape and spray a little WD on the adhesive...wait a moment and then start slowly peeling the tape back, spraying a little more WD every time it stops easily peeling off... This also works for getting the tape residue off the surface and/or your skin though wash your hands VERY thoroughly before touching your face if you get WD on them as the oil tastes HORRIBLE!!! I believe denatured (or rubbing) alcohol works well to clean the WD residue off the surfaces if you need to prep them for coating (paint, fiberglass resin, caulking etc.)...

If you need a REALLY strong patch and don't care about appearance or cost, use JB Weld (or equivalent) instead of resin to bond the fiberglass mesh in place... I've seen other You Tuber's pull 2-part Epoxy Glue out of 1L cans and mix them together so I know they come in larger quantities than just the little tubes of 5 Minute Epoxy you can get a LOWES or Home Dipshits

Or some tape or even better when he did the lid, add some flaps on top so they are already hard so they can hold the lid to the pipe :)

Black lines in your video are from your LED light which is pulsing the lights off and on quickly to achieve a dimmer level, this clashes with the cameras shutter speed. Lights on full power and those bands should disappear if the light is genuinely at full power.
