that was a perfect video to include a cheater recall as well

from 2:16 I don't understand the thing about this jungler... then 8:06 about the big wave that is pushed at enemy's tower... well... I thought we were talking about SLOW PUSHING not fast pushing. I guess I don't get it...
@sdkkkk2234nx3 жыл бұрын
4 months late but here's your answer about 2:16. When enemy is freezing, only way for you to break that freeze is to quickly kill enemy minions (push). This will force your minions to go closer to enemy turret, turret kills your minions and will automatically cause enemy minions to push towards you. The reason he mentioned enemy jungler top side in this scenario is that you ONLY want to fast push (when talking about breaking freeze) when you know you can't be ganked. Because if enemy is freezing close to their turret, you have to get close to enemy side to push, that makes you very vulnerable. But if you know you can't be ganked (enemy jungle being topside), than you can safely fast push and thus force that wave to push towards you.

what about heimerdinger support with turrets that pushing my wave all the time ?
@ginpotion2412 Жыл бұрын
usually heimer support works well with really high range adcs like cait and ashe. these adcs do want to push all the time to pressure the enemy botlane and get plates to scale faster. that's what cait is good at. Push push poke get plates reset rinse and repeat

How do i do a slowpush if my opponent just pushes the wave back? Its not like i can just start slowpushing randomly

Usually, in lane, slow pushing is the way to go, expect when you can freeze and play around it. To slow push, you just need to damage the other wave more than they damage your wave. It's that simple. If the opponent tries to push the wave back, you just have to outdamage what he deals to the wave. You can zone him out, so he can't attack the wave, and then you're outdamaging him. But this paragraph was almost pointless, because, normally, slow push doesn't even have to deal with that: - When the enemy crashes a wave into your tower, your minions will arrive and kill the minions that are under tower, so your wave will stop to attack. Meanwhile, the enemy wave is coming and it will stop in front of your turret. If you just last hit the minions on the enemy wave, as both waves are positioned on your side of the map, you'll have a minion advantage because your incoming minion wave will reach the "minion fight" sooner. With that minion advantage, you can just keep last hitting the wave and it will slowpush. Unless your opponent completely unloads every ability into the wave, he won't be able to stop the slowpush with just auto attacks, at least in the early game, even if he is an ADC. These concepts are complicated and are a lot harder to explain by text than just watching videos, like this one, about it. Feel free to ask anything if you have any doubts and I'll try to clarify.

You just match their push to keep the wave where it is. That's it. If your opponent is trying to fast push, you're not going to be able to slow push. It's as simple as that. And you can start slow pushing randomly if you are stronger than your opponent because you can zone them off the wave, or if your opponent decides to roam or take a bad recall... you slow push one wave and crash the next wave.

What's the difference between freeze and slow push? I mean when I freeze I create a huge minion wave right? Slow push does exactly the same thing, so I don't really get the difference between freeze and slow puah
@GotTM874 жыл бұрын
When I freeze a lane it is either to farm under tower or to deny exp from enemy. If I slow push it is to roam or make a TP play.
@mrnoxusyz53784 жыл бұрын
You've misunderstood something about those concepts: - Slow push is forming a big wave by creating a minion advantage and then last hitting the minions, until you decide to crash it under their tower. - Freezing is keeping the wave in one place for a moderate amount of time, always last hitting, because you don't wanna damage the wave more than the other wave is damaging yours, or it will push. Usually, there will be very few minions from both sides, because the minions will keep killing each other and keeping the wave in place. But, as explained in the video, it depends in which side the wave is leaning towards. And the concept is more profound when there are more variables. So please, ask away if you have any doubts.

If you play low wave clear champs like vayne, how would you recommend we manage the waves? auto for auto hard push back and try to freeze as the weak side laner?
@Digi7y4 жыл бұрын
I'd say try to match the push with lots of aa's and try to hold some caster minions just outside turret range and just last hit there.
@AstralisLoL4 жыл бұрын
Well, it all depends on the game state, you can't just have a fixed strategy that you apply to all games when it comes to wave management. Here are some scenarios that can maybe help you get a better perspective: A) If your jungler is camping top lane the whole game, not pathing down bot once, you want to try and freeze the wave right at your turret so you don't the enemy jungler a chance to gank you. B) If you're playing with an engage/hook support like Thresh, Pyke and so on, and you know you can win the 2V2, you can try and keep the wave at your turret with either a slow push or freeze and then run the enemy down when they step too far forward. C) If the enemy is trying to set up a freeze at their turret, and you've spotted the enemy jungler pathing down bot, you want to fast push the lane so you reset the wave state. Hope that helped, If you have any more questions then just ask away!

@@AstralisLoL Thank you. On low wave clear champs like vayne against the likes of ezreal for example, it is easy to continue to aa, but it can be very tough against champs who can harrass and push at the same time like caitlyn ash, who also outranges you. Obviously it is support matchup depenedent, but how would a normal lane play out in this case? With a passive support especially.
@AstralisLoL4 жыл бұрын
It's quite hard since supports have a large role when it comes to laning phase in the 2v2. So if your support only plays passive in a lane where you have to play aggro to win, then there is not much else you can do tbh. Your best bet vs a Caitlyn/Ashe lane, is to either try and setup an early slow push so you can get a quick base off (some will call it cheater recall) and buy a secondary Dorans blade for the sustain. Or play really passive until you can get a Vampiric Scepter for your first base as vayne so you can recover from their poke and so on.
