Simply spectacular!!! The chord voicings and the chord substitutions on Wave were just spectacular--- no nonsense to be found here!! Just a fabulous rendition of Jobim's classic composition. Effortlessly executed with a flawless performance!!! Man, it just can't get any better than this!!!. What a delight to the ear to hear this beautiful tune with a FRESH interpretation that makes you sit up and listen!!! His use of chord substitutions and flowing passing chords make so much sense musically, that I feel he has actually "IMPROVED" on the original.--- not an easy thing to do WHEN we are talking about the MASTER composer Antonio Carlos Jobim !!. His melodies are not only original , but, "Timless!!". Walter, YOU have. Done what few guitarists rarely do, and that is to exhibit "AWE" in your interpretation and clean playing of these classic tunes!. You are an "INSPIRATION" to all guitar players and non-guitar players alike!!. You have SHOWN WHAT it REALLY takes to be an "ACCOMPLISHED" musician on your instrument!. Again, there is "NO NONSENSE to be found here!! ---- just "PHENOMENAL" artistry and "FLAWLESS" PLAYING!!".

The most beautiful version of WAVE I have ever heard. Bet its composer A.C. Jobim would agree. Just as an aside: You have to love a country so musical it names its largest airport after its greatest composer -- the man I call "the Cole Porter of South America." Yes, would love to fly down to "Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport" in Rio. I have to stick to flight simulator, where it is quite simply my favorite destination. The perfect turquoise of the huge bay between the airports and . . . well you know all about that, Walter. I ran out of superlatives a moment ago in describing your incredible rendition of my favorite Gershwin tune, THEY CAN'T TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME. Dare I say, this Jobim medley is even more amazing. I've seen Tommy Emmanuel and Doyle Dykes live, but -- shhh, don't tell them -- you are my all-time favorite finger style guitarist. Those are longest fingers I've ever seen. I play the song differently , using a different chord voicing's. His sounds the best, I am going to have to struggle hard to stretch my fingers like that and I will probably fail to be able to.
