@@johnhenry4844 yeah unfortunately since the world isn’t a perfect Utopia most empires have a point. The first empires rose to defend their city state by eliminating rivals. It’s a case of humans are bad so we need to be worse than them. It’s effective, the reason no one takes the Western allies seriously anymore except for the US & Eastern Europeans, is simply because we lost our empires & without empires we lost our bite. Then we invented nukes & lost our spine too. No wonder the East isn’t afraid, they’re practically invading Europe threatening nuclear war & we sat around playing keep away with supplies whilst Ukraine & the Caucasus do our job for us against all the odds that they should’ve been steamrolled. Meanwhile in the wars we do fight we can’t even beat some guys in a cave with orange wire & Semtex. It’s kinda sad that a lot of our nations used to own most of the world & now we can’t even fight guerrilla fighters in a third world nation.
