We can construction "momentum-space" wavefunctions, rather than only considering position-space. This process of converting between the two representations is a Fourier transform.

I like this lady's presentation style. It's not stiff and formal like most university lectures are, and it seems very millennial if it makes sense to phrase it that way

Can you tell me what momentum actually is. It's energy. But how is it energy? I have an idea, but am curious about your answer. What do you think superposition actually is, not in terms of how you observe it but what goes on that generates them?

momentum is not energy. its the quantity that is affected by force. mass times velocity to be blund. just throwing my ideas here.

@@akshay4107 Im not talking about macroscopic momentum. If you realize that noting in the unverse is ever at rest amd that particles are distortions that are transmitted through some kind of mesh you may understand that momentum is two things, namely a movement of energy and a passing of time (mostly because the universe behaves like bunch of separated spaces where mutuam influence is absent but energy none the less evolves..Im not beholden (like the lady in the video) to teach the QM doctrine even if it is a working description of what we observe..

Momentum is the amount of motion contained in a body. Kind of like a capacitor storing charges. It's dynamics depend upon time and force.
