This was not presented in a way that I could understand it. Like why is the A and B walls of the waveguide shaped like they are. What happens to the wave inside of it. The choke joint illustrations made no sense. He kept saying choke, but it sounded like chove.

orange70383 the A and B walls are shaped as they are to support TE 10 mode inside the rectangular waveguide. Practically the B wall length should be less than that of A wall. And common convention is to keep B as half of A.
