I can't believe he cut the waveguide with a hacksaw in a manner that small pieces of copper would end up in the waveguide. We always, note always cut the waveguide with waveguide pointing down so bits of debris don't get in the waveguide then wipe the waveguide out with clean rag and usually isopropyl alcohol to keep any debris out of the waveguide.

Great video, well done. Thanks! I have buggered terminations before, thanks for showing me how to do it. My next one will be much better!

you can use a socket from a 3/8 drive ratchet set instead... one large enuff will always have a taper to acomodate(sp?) the ratchet... otherwise this is a fantastic video showing real world techniques............. two thumbs up.............

@rigtower Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately we didnt have a flanging tool for this job, so its just a demonstration of how it can be done without one. :-)

That was very helpful. Thank you. Great tutorial for generalized ideas on microwave antenna alignment. However it doesn't practical show how the process is carried out.

I thought this was going to be a video about surfing --wrong kind of waves. Love that northern Texas accent. Lot of work to hook up a vacuum cleaner hose. When you put your chin on the tray you look like my dog putting his chin on the table when he's begging for food. It's cute. What was the VSWR when you finished MacGyvering with the hillbilly ghetto ball peen hammer?

I think more of an Australian accent than Northern Texas.
