Sir actually our limit is 203-207 nm.but why we are doing 202-208 nm please explain

First of All thanks for such a brilliant question. If you see guideline General European OMCL Network (GEON) as per that we need to scan from 190 to 290 nm scan with 1 nm incremental. And if you scan from 190 to 290 with 1 nm incremental your analysis time will huge. That’s why HPLC vendors recommends to scan near 202 to 208nm. Rather than entire 190 to 290nm. Hope it’s clear to you now..
