This is great, I've been avoiding Tofu as melee because they SEEMED rough, but this specific battle is great. I've just been fighting 5-1, I'll definitely start scouting out more efficient battles and report back with any learnings. Would be handy to know what map to fight to get coins for each island, since some I'm just not sure what to battle!

I agree! My goal is to have a good farming map for each zone with record so everyone doesn't dread certain islands so much :P

With a Jikan or Blunderbust you can do crackler stage 86 in 27 seconds. Blunderbust will take 40+ seconds.

Why do you keep your gear at level 49?

Propably because you can't see how much you got of an item once it hits 50. This way he can still keep track.

It's to keep track of how many of each item I have. Once you're 50 it says "MAX" and you have no way of determining how much of an item you got. It just allows me to keep an eye on loot. Plus youll want extra copies for the future once level cap increases. Im losing like maybe 4 attack so it's not the end of the word to me

@@Thriftshoppin the fact the level cap can increase later is a great thought. Guess I'll have to do the same. We'll see if the game actually does keep track of items even though it says MAX once the cap gets increased.

You may want to consider trying to find a lvl 91+ stage to farm, the drop rate for albuera chests is 12% on stages 91+.

You're absolutely correct. This video was released before any information on Albueran chests. My recommendation would be bworks or cracklers. Those seem to be the two easiest zones at high levels to clear for majority of classes

So this got nerfed to the ground. The fire bird is now the only companion the only one with a equipment chest drop chance. :/
