I'm glad she found a new band with Hagane , we need more Junna ;)))

@robertandre778. I'm glad to hear you feel as I do about Junna finding a new home for the first time since her departure from Girl's Rock Band Kakumei (now Trident). Sakura and Sayaka made a wise choice in adding Junna to the band. While she may, at times, lack some of the subtlety of Kanako's playing (Junna's predecessor in Hagane), one could never accuse her of phoning it in. New EP Life Goes On is 🔥.

@@michaelhill4353 my only complaint with the new album is the mixing. Speaking as a metal guitarist for 37 years, the EP was obviously mixed by Sakura because the rhythm guitar tracks are far too present, practically drowning out the bass. It sounds a little weird in that the drums and bass have reverb on them but the guitar tone is very dry. Anyway, the music composition and performances are really good, and I honestly prefer the new singer to the old one.

She is clearly not playing in the video. 3.08 you can see that the foot cam and the front cam shows different videos. But shall we all pretend for the sake of make believe? There is so much fake content on KZbin drumming and I really think we have to bust the myths if we want reality. Maybe there is a majority for fake content and lies - I don't know....

What’s different about the videos?
@magnushallin36405 ай бұрын
@@WavePotter Oh! In the foot cam she is moving her left foot - but not in the front cam. The 3.08 refers to the original Junna video. But if you slow down the video there is a lot of bad timing and inconsistencies compared to the studio sound. You only need one obvious proof that they are faking their performances to be sure. Jorge Garrido, Sina and Nandi are other fake youtube drummers that pretend to play what has been "enhanced" in a daw. You just have to pretend that you are playing and most people get fooled by the poor video quality.

@@WavePotter He probably means 3:09 at the video on her own channel, with her left foot moving a bit more in just one of the two video feeds. Personally, I don’t view any of these videos as live anyway (some videos even look like they do it in parts/edits each time the camera view changes), and instead view them more like music videos, while they still show us considerable skill level anyway. Junna is obviously an amazing drummer, whether live or not. Another example is the ‘Tina S’ guitar cover of ‘Through the Fire and Flames’, where it appears that a blue clip on her hair disappears and reappears for different sections of the video. Again though, she too is amazing regardless. I think the point of many of these KZbin videos, is for creators to push themselves to play at their absolute limits (to get noticed), at times things they couldn’t even play live. But as long as we don’t compare them to live videos, I don’t really see the issue.

Nah. The way she plays just sounds stupid and destroys the song. But, it is funny though. :)
@Wyl75 ай бұрын
It’s an awful song. She can’t destroy it any more than it Metallica did. But I’ll admit I’m biased towards their ‘80s stuff. I’ve been a fan since Ride the Lightning released… a friend’s older brother had it on cassette and we wore it out :)

lol she did that song a favor. I get not wanting to overkill a song with drumming, but this song is a snoozer when it comes to Lars contribution, or better yet, lack of.
